Base rate announcement expected shortly. CPI has dropped to 3.2% a larger than expected decrease. Likely to see new base rate fall to 3.75%. Unlikely to go lower this year due to the budget just last month. However rising unemployment could sway the result. #BoE

Down they go, base rate drops to 3.75%. Lowest in over 2 years! A welcomed gift for those on variable or tracker mortgages. Savers, review your savings accounts and look for the best short, medium and long term rates!
