I’ve flown first class to India, taken a private jet to Borneo, and a luxury Sikorsky far offshore. None of it cost more money and time preparing than the flight I’m about to board. My son’s first flight as a licensed pilot with a passenger. I couldn’t possibly be more excited!

If only the Europeans that enable Russia to continue slaughtering people in Ukraine because they want to save €12/month on their electricity bills had 1% the courage as the average Ukrainian, the world would be free of the largest terror operation since Nazi Germany.

Emerald-coloured divide. This is the Kunene River (my late wife Evah was of the Swazi Kunene clan whose land is now Mbabane), separating Namibia and Angola on the north in a rugged but beautiful slice of our planet.
