Age related muscle loss can be significantly accelerated through poor lifestyle choices all of which will suppress testosterone levels, increase cortisol and signal to the body to offload necessary muscle that you need for future years.

Muscle burns upto 7 times the calories of fat just to be maintained. This inefficiency drains your resources, and so, if you’re not using them like you should, your body will happily give them up to conserve energy and put it to use elsewhere. Stay strong

Combining strength training with the right quality protein can both preserve and build muscle at any age, which is necessary if we want to stay strong, agile, and active as long as we live. Remember the goal is always to have a health span equal to your life span. 💛

Both of these things can be improved by adopting a simple strength based exercise routine and eating good quality foods (in the right quantities) They can both be done at home, and require minimal time commitment. Yet the impact it would have on your future life is immeasurable
