Always amazes me that all four tiers in the Football League get a big day out at GAA HQ while the Hurling equivalent in the lower divisions get thrown into random grounds around the country. There has to be a better way to do it πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈπŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ

The Kildare GAA family are deeply saddened by the passing of the legendary Mick O’Dwyer. His time managing Kildare in the 1990’s was particularly special. He led us to Leinster titles in 1998 and 2000, and he also brought us to an All-Ireland Final appearance in 1998. His impact

Much too young to fully appreciate it at the time but given the lack of success since, you can't help but marvel at what Mick O'Dwyer did in his time as Kildare manager. Helped us dance at the top table on more than one occasion and those Leinster wins will always be remembered

Sport doesn't get any better that. A simply extraordinary few hours of action that had it all. You can only be buzzing for Rory πŸ‘πŸ‘

I'm sure there's some home and away agreement in situ here but even so Kildare really get no advantage from topping their group by having to go away to Meath.

The biggest downfall of the GAA Split Season is placing countless big games up against each other in both codes. The latest example being the Ulster Final thrown into an already packed Saturday of action. This does nobody any favours.

Excruciating that Kildare aren't the ones there to take advantage when Dublin finally slipped up in Leinster but a final like Meath and Louth is what the Championship badly needed and you'll get a huge crowd in Croker now as a result.

Over 60k in Croker for the Leinster Final on Sunday. Feels like I've been taken back to the early 2000's when anyone had a chance at the title. A sign of things to come hopefully!

I honestly can't believe how well the last few weeks have gone for the Kildare Hurlers. No win in the Joe McDonagh up to this year and now within touching distance of a final in Croke Park. Dream stuff πŸ™ŒπŸ™Œ

Another brilliant win for the Senior Hurling team this afternoon. Next stop - Croke Park on Sunday, June 8th. Big 2 weeks ahead! πŸ™ŒπŸ³

Some period of dominance for Tyrone at under 20 level in Gaelic Football. Must have been a good team that broke their monopoly over the last four years πŸ˜‰
