It features on the side of IET 802008, which was named after the lifeboat, Solomon Browne, sadly lost at sea in 1981.

12 members of Teddington RNLI Lifeboat Station crew joined Hampton Canoe Club for water safety training this week. The focus was on the special skills needed for rescues from canoes and kayaks. The voluntary crew training takes place annually. #rnli_teddington #FloatToLive

Saturday 25 May Teddington RNLI Lifeboat Station will celebrate the charity’s 200th birthday with an Open Day 2-5 pm & a rare chance to see historical former Whitby lifeboat, the William Riley which 25 crew from the 4 Thames RNLI Stations will row from Gravesend to #Teddington !

Both lifeboats launched at 1.15 pm to assist emergency services search for person reportedly in the Thames nr Hampton Court. If you see someone in trouble in the water call 999 for the coastguard. Tell them exactly where you believe the person to be & try to keep sight of them.

Teddington RNLI Lifeboat Station ran a lifejacket clinic at Shepperton Marina today in conjunction with Lindon Lewis Marine. 87 lifejackets were checked, 33 of which were condemned and 29 needed servicing. Never take safety equipment for granted and respect the water #rnli

An honour to sail in the United Kingdom FireFighter Sailing Championship regatta in the Solent this week. Great racing against 30 teams from Fire & Ambulance including London Fire Brigade London Ambulance Service Surrey Fire & Rescue Service. Proud to say Teddington RNLI retained their white sails title representing the RNLI. See you next year!
