Amazing numbers on the picket lines at Manchester this morning, big showing at the arch, big pickets everywhere else, and pickets at quite a few buildings we haven't had before.

We were concerned by reports that some of our members today received a phone call from Edge Hill University’s HR department, asking them to state if they were on strike today. The advice of your union is unequivocal: you are under no obligation to let anyone know that you are on strike.
