I was going to go to the office this week for the first time ever. Turns out so was everybody else; the desks in my buildings are booked! Had to book a week out! Whoulda thunk that desk reservations would be as hot a ticket as a restaurant table in Palo Alto on a Friday night?

So, does everyone else’s brain go, “I put quiche on the menu, my recipe for pie crust makes two crusts, so I need to make a berry pie with a crumb topping”? Or do normal people just cut the crust recipe in half?

Colleagues, if I seem a little bleary-eyed today, blame it on the fact that my son stashed a bunch of little green army figurines in my bed, and my hips and back only managed to find them one at a time throughout the night.
