#Canada vs #South Africa. My take, having lived in both countries is: If you're a low to middle-income person - you're better off living in South Africa than Canada. It's terribly expensive in Canada that even Canadians born in Canada no longer afford to live in Canada.

2023: searching for gate @ Munich Airport. 7 German policemen encircled me. Passport demand. 20Min: scan if my passport is forged/fake. Me later: Did u ask for my passport bcz I'm Black? Are u also asking White travelers? I have never seen police so apologetic/embarrassed.
