Despite being physically threatened on the picket line by reactionary thugs, these young workers were out in force today and have just forced the senior management of a major hotel chain round the negotiating table over equal pay, the real living wage and paid breaks!

Outsourcing is a scourge, creating downward pressure on pay and poor job security and working conditions. Scotrail and the Scottish Government must rethink their strategy and bring all Scotrail work in-house.

This is one of the stark examples why it’s critical that Labour fulfils its promise to introduce the biggest wave of insourcing in a generation. Let’s get behind @RMT in this campaign to end outsourcing & to bring workers back into direct employment.
