Ladies and gentleman, #Etna! The snowy eruption at #Etna is still going on. The lava flow is now longer than 3.5 km, going down on the SW flank of the #volcano. The #Copernicus #Sentinel2 was captured on Feb. 12th.

The lava flow from near the summit of #Etna has descended to about 1950 m elevation and is destroying the first trees near the "Altomontana" Forest Service Road - impressive images from Etna Walk's Giuseppe Distefano and Marco Restivo.

The remarkable Ms. Phill. 1505, penned by Nikolaos Kokolos in Venice (1539-42), preserves Proclus’ Commentary on Theologia Platonica, enriched with marginal notes, diagrams, and textual variants. An interesting witness to 16th-century #Greek #manuscript production! Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin
