We were thrilled to receive a Diverse Cymru Award today on behalf of Powys Teaching Health Board Maternity Services for progressing and making improvement in equality, diversity and inclusion with their Cultural Competency Certification Scheme . Thank you to Diverse Cymru , it was a great day🏆

We have a new arrival! Our beautiful baby boy arrived at home in Brecon. His mother is doing very well 😊 He was delivered by Powys Teaching Health Board’s midwifery team. Thank you to the magnificent midwives who ensured he arrived safely. We’re fortunate to have home birthing in Powys 👶

Fantastic to see Powys Teaching Health Board recruiting to a Director of Midwifery, Women and Family. Exciting times for the Health Board and Maternity services and a great opportunity to work in a unique model of care pthb.nhs.wales/working-for-us…

Great to attend the Rural Health and Care Wales (RHCW) conference and display our 2 QI projects - ‘Developing a maternity triage system in a community setting’ and ‘Improving EDI data quality to develop local maternity services’ for Powys Teaching Health Board. Fantastic presentation by Faith Worrall All Wales Clinical Supervisors for Midwives too 😃
