Today we take another dive into the #RLGCHoylake history books as we revisit the story of 1967 Open winner Roberto de Vicenzo, one of the oldest Open winners of all time. At the age of 44, Roberto posted rounds of 70-71-67-70 to secure his lone major title.

The 'Alps' 11th hole at Hoylake once played to a sunken rectangular green which was hidden from the tee. Colt replaced it in 1923. At that time, Colt's green was beach-side. Today we have a marsh, which is spectacular in a different way!

#RLGCHoylake hole-by-hole: We're kicking off with the famous opening par four 1st, with out-of-bounds inviting you to a tough start flanking the right side, the ideal tee shot sets up a long iron into the green to kick off your round.

#RLGCHoylake hole-by-hole: 'Road' is a classic links par four. Played to the only green which remains from the original course layout, the three newly situated fairway bunkers will capture any wayward tee shots, before a well protected green falls away from front to back.
