Amen. We should strive to do everything with excellence, for the glory of God (Col 3). This includes architecture, design, music—everything. Corner cutting has no place in the Kingdom.

When someone makes Proverbs 22:6 out to say:

'Raise up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old—meh, flip a coin. It's all really random. There's no connection between faithfulness and blessing. Proverbs aren't promises, after all.'

You should raise an eyebrow.

Covenant Theology teaches us that likely the most important thing any of us will ever do is to believe what God says about our children and act like it.
