There is supposed to be 100 cow calf pairs somewhere out there in the fog this morning.

It’s really cool to see the Ring-Necked Pheasants hanging out together with the bison this winter.

This old guy found a warm spot out in the bison pasture to lay and soak up some sun this afternoon. Hopefully this is the last frigid weather for awhile now!

The herd of bison cows on the home section have been grazing stock piled forage all winter. They’ve really been going after the plant material that’s buried under the snow.

Ready to roll head on into whatever this next week brings

The bison saw its shadow this morning. Looks like 6 more weeks of tariffs.

We went out to check the bison cows last night. We found a brand new one just taking its first few steps!

The crocuses are really showing up in the buffalo pastures now that all the snow from last week has melted!

We’ve got a few more fresh bison calves out this this cool rainy weekend!

I was out looking for bison calves this afternoon and went past one of the marshes in the pasture and seen a weird looking pair of birds. We’ve got a nesting pair of American Bitterns. It’s really cool to see how many unique plants, birds,and mammals here on the ranch

Now that June is here there’s so many colourful wildflowers popping up all over the ranch. Watching nature get ready for summer is one of the best times of the year 🌼

We cooked some bison dino ribs on the Traeger today. They turned out awesome … probably one of the top 5 meals I’ve smoked on this grill. They were so tender and juicy !!!
