Frankie just could not believe it when Dr. M told him that yesterday was the 7 year anniversary of the hospital opening! Where does the time go?! Handsome Frankie is 5 years old and he came in today to get his blood drawn by our two Sarahs 😉 He is just such a good kitty!

Here is some puppy cuteness to start off your week! You already know Alyssa's Petunia aka Tunie! And now we want to introduce you to the newest member of our new Sarah's family...this is Alpacino aka Alpie! Both are 10 weeks old and they had a nice puppy play session earlier!

Cats feel safer when they are elevated so it was nice to see Toby taking advantage of our perches, As a cat friendly practice, we always strive to make your cat's visit as stress-free as possible! Toby is a 15 year old Non-standard Napoleon cat, which Persian/Munchkin cross.

This beauty is Talia! She is a 6 year old Mastiff and she came to see Dr C for her annual exam. She’s a gentle giant but she’s so nervous so she needed to stay by her mom’s side for her picture ❤️

It was puppy central today! In addition to our daily puppy time with Alyssa's Tunie and Sarah's Alpie, we also got to meet these two babies! Sarah is holding 8wk old Bulldog Jazzy. And the other cutie is 16wk old Pitbull Mya. Couldn't you just squish those little faces?! 🥰

We are closed Saturday, August 31st and Monday, September 2nd in observance of Labor Day. Today, we got to see 5yr old Pepsi and 8yr old Peri! Pepsi enjoyed hanging on the perch watching a squirrel but Peri preferred to stay in his carrier. Look at those cute little pink noses!

Happy Labor Day from our family to yours! We are closed today and will reopen tomorrow. Last week, we saw these brothers for their pre-neuter exams and bloodwork. These are 2 year old Toy Poodles Gizzi and Teddy together in their mom’s arms! Don’t they look like stuffed animals?!

This beautiful little girl had her annual exam today with Dr. C. This is Bailey and she is a 19 week old Bernese Mountain dog. What a smile!!!

As you can see, Jasper had a rough first visit with us today 🫣🤪 He rolled right over for belly rubs! This cute poodle mix was surrendered to animal control in Shelton and his new mom adopted him in July. He is absolutely the sweetest and gave Dr. M and Sarah soooo many kisses!

One of our surgery patients today was adorable Bichon Frise 5 year old Lucy! This beautiful breed of dog is prone to developing bladder stones. So today, we removed two nickel-sized stones from her bladder! Sweet Lucy did great and she should be feeling better in no time! 🩷

This morning, 12 year old Pandora came in to see Dr. M and Mary to have a growth evaluated. And she likes to bring her stuffed monkey for emotional support. When Mary took her into treatment to get bloodwork, Pandora had to carry her monkey with her! She is such a sweet baby!

Aengus was jumping for joy when he came in yesterday for his first visit! This handsome man is an 11 week old Standard Poodle. And you can see in the background that he brought his sushi toy with him! Sarah said he was so snuggly that she could've spent all day with him!

Happy Friday afternoon from Zeke! He came in as a new patient today to have a small growth checked by Dr. M. He is the sweetest 3 year old Goldendoodle. When he was taking treats from Sarah, he was so incredibly gentle! What a love 💗

Ruger says "Thank you for taking care of me today, Auntie Sarah!". This handsome 3 year old Lab is just a giant excited boy at 108lbs so Sarah went out to the car to get his recheck ear cytology. Dad says his medication is helping and his ears are a lot better!

Look at this triple threat of cuteness!!! This is 15 month old Mina and her 9 week old kittens Miley and Max. Mina's family knew she was pregnant when they are adopted her and they could just not resist keeping two of her mini me kittens!

This is Kendall's little girl Samantha and she is MEOW-velous! Taking a picture of this gorgeous girl was not easy because all she wanted to do was climb on everyone to get some love and attention. She is just so sweet and we could all not stop petting her 😻

Are you kitten me with this cuteness?! 😹 Sally is a 15 week old bundle of energy who came in to see Dr. M and Sarah this morning. She had the best time exploring the room and playing with all the toys. And a Delectables made it even better!

Yesterday, Mary helped Dr. C with this dapper gentleman's annual exam and vaccinations. This is Dougie and he is a 3 year old Cavapoo! These teddy bear faced dogs tend to have sweet and loving personalities and Dougie is no exception!🐻

Happy Thursday from handsome Leo! Dr. M saw Leo today with for his annual exam. Usually Dr. C has the pleasure of seeing him for his visits but Dr. M was the lucky one and she is not sure she is giving him back 😉 Leo is a 3 year old Pomsky, which is a Pomeranian and a Husky.

Say hello to two of our newest RVVH patients - Toy Poodle Fifi and her brother, Yorkie Gizmo. Both kiddos came to each other’s appointments for moral support...what a cute package deal! Miss Fifi is 2 years old and if you can believe it, Mr. Gizmo is 17!!!!
