See those signs? Basically, construction is about to kick off in earnest at 1725-27 Walnut St, the site of the long-anticipated aritzia. The space has been long-vacant, so it's not likely to be a fast turnaround, but hopeful for a 2024 opening!

Before stores open there is generally some market research that is done. RIttenhouse's market research must show that we need MORE cookies because NYC's Chip City Cookies is coming to town, replacing the long closed Miel Patisserie at 204 S 17th St.

Spring 2024 has unleashed a fantastic tsunami of construction work. One of our fave projects? NY bakery Levain Bakery, coming to 1516-1518 Walnut St . They plan to keep the beautiful, marble interior with its soaring ceilings. Hoping they're able to open in Q4 as planned!

Had a chance to visit Walnut Garden today and honestly, it makes us happy to see that it was bustling! Our heartfelt thanks to FCM Hospitality for transforming an empty lot into a communal space for the neighborhood. Hope it serves as a case study for other cities!
