My mom was a former Alderwoman for City of St. Louis, she also was an activist especially against the closing of Homer G. Phillips. I was a teen when she put me in a Save Homer G. t-shirt. She served for 16 years as City Register under Francis G. Slay, who also attended; as did ritadays.

On last evening, the people of North St. Louis County received $40 million bonding for a track and field sports recreation facility. This is something the people of the 1st District deserve and need. I will always be a champion for our community! Hazel M Erby is proud today!

I want to thank those who serve in our Armed Forces for all the work they do. Today we give a special thanks to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice to keep us safe. We couldn't do want we do without you.
