A timely reminder today that England have instructed an early pay review body report for next year (25/6) to get uplift into pockets in April next year. Meanwhile we stall, bicker and let our staff down here for this year (24/5, and it’s November!!)

Thank you to our BMA Northern Ireland colleagues for a very useful and constructive meeting this morning on the current HSC pay crisis and the co-ordination of our approaches to the issue, including in relation to potential industrial action. Both professions are clearly on the same page.
