Had a great time in Nottingham at Rise Up, Notts! festival. Thanks to all of those who organised the event, and thanks for inviting me to speak on the experiences of unaccompanied children in the UK's hostile environment.

Inspiring speeches at Rise Up, Notts!, especially Save Nottingham Libraries and the RMT and on disability action, together with a bijoux bookstall. Thanks to Nottm Socialist Club. Didn't agree with everything over the day but that is what debate is all about! Good to see so many friends.

Just been to the Rise Up, Notts! event. Some inspiring speakers, but Morgan Paulett almost brought me to tears with his rousing speech. If all young people were this inspiring I'd feel a hell of a lot more positive about the future. Tosh McDonald on form as always too!
