We just keep getting impressed by our cadets. Twelve in on a Half-Term Day, doing Methods of Instruction and Leadership assessments, the latter in the pouring rain this afternoon. Some outstanding mini teach backs for MOI, captivating in fact.

Another successful day yesterday, 7 more cadets completing their Bronze Leadership assessments. Again done during a half term day off. Some impressive performances, easily comprable with cadets far older/more experienced. Just shows the potential of our youngsters

1. RAST Competition, 6 teams yesterday and 5 teams (including ours) today, from across the SCOTNINE area taking part; Uniform Inspection, Drill sequence, Aircraft Recognition, First Aid, Air Rifle & Cadet (general aviation) knowledge. Cadets have done a 11 hour day, staff 17, -

2.  A long day, lots of total concentration, lot of nerves.  Some good performances, some the cadets believe could have gone better - nature of competition.  All schools on tenderhooks, awaiting an email to find out the results.  Regardess, we can only admire their devotion today
