It’s Leopard Day today! Good news is that ⁦Islamabad Wildlife Management Board (IWMB)⁩ was recently awarded ⁦WWF-Pakistan⁩ scientific committee grant to raise awareness about leopards in villages living in MHNP to avoid conflict. Plus IWMB’s dedicated volunteer Asad Khan has donated 11 camera traps!

These camera traps will be used by Islamabad Wildlife Management Board (IWMB) to conduct another survey of common leopard population inside Margallah Hills National Park! The last survey was completed in 2021. With new results we will know if leopard numbers are growing!
