There is a certain ghoulish irony that, after facilitating deadly starvation and disease in Yemen by helping the Saudis cut off their maritime trade, the West has bombed Houthi targets in the name of protecting commercial shipping.

'According to the World Food Programme, 4 out of 5 people in the world [experiencing] famine or catastrophic type of hunger are in Gaza right now.'

As we bid farewell to a painful and bloody 2023, we move into 2024 with just one thought: Freedom is coming.
