Individualism is literally killing us. This “you do you” mentality, this “your health isn’t my responsibility,” this “just focus on yourself” attitude is literally killing us. This isn’t how society works. You can’t individualize yourself out of your need for community care.

Shame is one of the hardest things about ADHD for me. I'm back and the book is finished but instead of feeling proud, I feel ashamed for not having managed to stay active online, manage my household better or even shower regularly.
