So this is / was my local theatre when growing up, the place I first watched Shakespeare (and plenty of pantos). And now a town of 200k+ people, which is in desperate need of investment, no longer has a venue for live theatre. A pretty sad day I'd say. theguardian.com/culture/2023/f…
