To insult two highly respected and free thinking politicians like this is disgraceful. It just shows how far standards in society have fallen. Anyone reposting this insulting photograph should feel utterly ashamed. 😔

Awesome footage by Stacey from Stacey Solomon of the Ag. Machinery R&D Centre - AMRDC Active Inclusion Ripping system working in the Vic Mallee. We are combining this with nutrition treatments to build fertility and push yield frontiers for the GRDC South #sandysoils project Therese Mcbeath Kenton Porker

I’ve had a lot of suggestions to build a spray chemical inventory app so here’s what I’ve made so far. Let me know what you want to see in an app like this and I’ll add it. Also help with a name because boombook sounds ridiculous šŸ˜‚

Matt ā€œThat is the sound of inevitabilityā€ Hill And yet, to try and access it through R & D, it is almost impossible. So many hoops to jump through. I’d like to see them actually listen to growers (& industry), & put some funds into what they want - not what the GRDC think they want. It is, after all, grower finds isn’t it?

Keep calm and do science. Your phone. Your medicine. Your clean drinking water. None of it exists without science. It’s not just test tubes and lab coats. It’s the reason we live longer, safer, better lives. Without science, we go backwards.

Glyphosate is one of the most vilified chemicals. Influencers claim it causes countless health issues. It doesn’t. Glyphosate interferes w/EPSPS, a plant enzyme. Humans don’t have EPSPS = no mechanism of harm. 50 YEARS of data show this. This is basic biochemistry.

Spots on your barley leaves? Physiological leaf spotting ad chemical damage can look similar to foliar disease like spot-form net blotch or scald. Check crops and diagnose symptoms correctly before spraying. More info in #PestFactsWA newsletter. GRDC West dpird.wa.gov.au/siteassets/doc…

South West Victoria Soil moisture monitoring site at Yella Y Poora. Barley growing well but with some late development. Generally fill this soil up in traditional winter, but not at this point after a dry August. extensionaus.com.au/soilmoisturemo…
