Last week, discussions at the African Peer Review Mechanism (APRM) #SSTrC Forum highlighted the growing momentum for #SouthSouth & #TriangularCooperation. UNOSSC's @SambaHThiam highlighted the importance of strengthening coordinated mechanisms to support these cooperation models at the regional level.

Through resilience-focused initiatives, UNDP in Sierra Leone is transforming lives across 🇸🇱. In a meeting with 🇯🇵 Amb Yoshimoto, beneficiaries shared powerful stories, from Bike Riders turned peacebuilders (via United Nations Peacebuilding) to MSMEs scaling through UNDP’s Accelerator Programme.

UNDP in Sierra Leone has begun installing solar lighting systems for 2,183 rural households across Falaba, Kambia, Moyamba, Pujehun, Bonthe & Western Area. Each 12W solar unit provides lights + mobile charging, boosting safety, learning & connectivity. Installations started in Tombo!
