An enjoyable visit to the London Transport Museum Depot at Acton Town today, with a chance to get up close to some of London’s transport history. Particularly good to see MET Bo-Bo Sarah Siddons and the recently overhauled ex-BR standard brake van; both looking immaculate.

Great to ride behind LBSCR Class A1X Terrier ‘Martello’ at Bressingham Steam today during her milestone birthday year. Built in 1875 in Brighton, Martello is 150 years old this year; still looking and sounding fantastic.

Easy to understand why Stroudley’s LBSCR Class A1 / A1X locomotives gained their Terrier nickname; nothing beats that distinctive 'bark' of the exhaust.
