Good evening fellowship. I suppose I should introduce myself, I'm Richmond. Former artist and apparent gothic writer. I have no formal training but decided to write a series of works based on a painting I had done. Now I am on the fifth and final draft of my first novella.

A question for both writers and readers. When you reach the climax of the story that involves a dramatic revelation that effects the protagonist mental state, would you prefer it to be descriptive and semi long or quick and impactful?

While editing the last scene of my story, I found that the build up to the fabulously morbid conclusion did not have the intensity it deserves. So now I am rewriting this unhinged string of words to end it finally.

Recreating glass through paint is always a difficult task, especially when the glass has texture and patterns. However, there are techniques to combat this. One method is to add thin glazes to create transparency or tinted color. #oilpainting #art #traditionalart #antiques
