What if we took this idea broader? What if we worked with countries throughout South America or even beyond to stabilize them and their economies? What if we provided them support to break 100 years of bad cycles? What if we had agencies could be created to do this? What if...

I suspect these conversations would go a lot easier if we had not spent the preceding 10 months insulting and sanctioning (in various ways) said partners and allies.

This. Oh and, (C), Set up a system where people make money off of volatility rather than value so that this sense of chaos is also profitable. And, (D), make sure taxes on this are as low as can be.

Well said. And now I'm trying to think about who might have said that.

Even if the East Wing were a wreck (which it wasn't) ... even if the proposed Trump ballroom were beautiful (which it isn't) ... the demolition would still be a scandal because it's financed by bribes.

Even if this were all true - and it isn't - the safeguards violations that resulted in the noncompliance finding in June would still be sufficient for the matter to be on the agenda. So, sure, there doesn't have to be a JCPOA report. A regular safeguards (violation) report works.
