Liverpool City Council committed to protecting 100 parks and green spaces in 2021. Why have LCC only protected 1 pocket park in Faulkner Square? Laura Robertson-Collins Claire Hamilton Ring of Parks Eric SMITH Liam Thorp

The huge swale π₯ Alder Hey π have put on our communities park is clearly only for their developer & shouldn't be on Springy. The parks so boggy its just not helping. Fields in Trust π needs to happen now! Years of lies, deceit & delays is all we've had, not the promised World Class Park

Almost a year later & after π₯ Alder Hey π have installed their huuuge swale on our communitys park which is allegedly for the park (as if) and this still looks like a needed option to drain the park properly. Got any spare volunteers Friends Of Springfield Park

December 2023, the last time π₯ Alder Hey π met with the community with no updates delivered to the community since?? Friends Of Springfield Park Joanne kennedy West Derby Liberal Democrats Carl Cashman Liam Robinson Fields in Trust π

Approaching another year later & Springfield Parks still not back but the π₯ Alder Hey π project manager did say "if the project goes to plan & we gather momentum then thats a bonus, but if not, we will just keep revising the dates" Incredible comment from AH but has ended up true

Another year goes by and still Springfield Park hasn't been returned. Fields in Trust π for ALL Liverpool Parks is an absolute necessity!!

Is anybody taking π₯ Alder Hey π to task to make sure they fulfill what they promised over 13yrs ago? Liam Robinson Liverpool City Council Hardly any work going on in the park & zero comms. Their developers swale on our park looks far from finished or is this staying as compacted mud?

Well well well.. Springfield Parks drainage plan is on the planning portal & makes for interesting reading. Here's just 1 of the interesting bits in para 3. "The swale & SUDS pond has been sized to accommodate the residential development" Why Liverpool City Council would you allow this??
