I appreciate Keith Foskey having me and Brent Parker on his podcast to discuss covenantal and dispensational theologies, and specifically our 4 Views book with IVP Academic: ivpress.com/covenantal-and…

A fun conversation with Keith Foskey on the contemporary landscape of Baptist Covenantal Theologies. The developments of the last 10-20 years have opened up many opportunities for fresh rapprochement for those who are willing to look under the hood.

Nobody on the planet has studied the covenants in the Bible and the Ancient Near East as much as Peter Gentry. Listen and learn from the best!

Understanding how the Abrahamic Covenant relates to the Old and New Covenants is critical for Baptist ecclesiology, and there's no one better I'd rather listen to on the Abrahamic Covenant than Jason DeRouchie. After listening to this podcast episode, then go read his excellent

This is why I'm a Baptist! Ironically both Reformed (i.e., paedobaptist/Presbyterian) Covenant Theology AND Dispensationalism make the same mistake in how they misinterpret the Abrahamic Covenant, but with respect to different promises. They both pick out a promise and read it

Without the type of "conservative realignment" that Willy Rice is talking about the SBC would eventually either cease to exist, or would be something that should cease to exist. I'm thankful for so many who have contributed to this conservative, convictional tide. Our

This is the coolest book I've seen in a long time! I wish it came out 15 years ago for my kids, but I'm still buying it. I had Tom Nettles for Church History in seminary and loved every minute in his classes. If Baptists don't teach our kids our heritage, no one else will.

By any estimation Tom Schreiner is one of the leading biblical scholars of our day. I count it a great privilege to have had him as my Doktorvater in the PhD program Southern Seminary. His knowledge and humility are both on display in this podcast episode on the Mosaic Covenant.

The Levitical Covenant is often ignored in discussing the storyline of Scripture, but David Schrock🌲 makes the case for it's importance in this podcast episode. I've also found his book on The Royal Priesthood very helpful: tinyurl.com/SchrockRoyalPr…. Both are highly recommended!

No one has taught be more about "how to put the bible together" than Steve Wellum. Long before he and Peter Gentry co-wrote Kingdom Through Covenant I soaked up their teaching on the biblical covenants and the storyline of the bible in my seminary classes with them. Wellum's
