Do not use Booking.com. We rented a property in Egypt (that they recommended) that had no locks on door, damp and mould everywhere, dirty bed sheets and sofas, everything was broken and they are not providing a refund. The photos looked nothing like the reality.

Nice to see someone else’s old soap in the family bathroom Booking.com 👌

All windows are boarded up or covered with broken shutters with no light able to enter property. Main door is broken and only access is through a sliding door that has no key. Booking.com thinks this is an acceptable place to stay with a newborn baby and a 4 year old. Disgusting

According to Booking.com, these issues could have been resolved if we asked the representative at the checkin. But so many issues? This property should not be rented to humans…

Even though a property is misrepresented on Booking.com and is unsafe / dirty / falling apart, they seem to wash their hands of the problem. They’re happy to take your money, but not provide any customer service or support when things go wrong.
