Had an amazing day viewing (an eclectic mix of) Chinese paintings and porcelains with Zoe Kwok and Cary Liu at Princeton Art Museum’s storage space. Nothing better than bouncing off ideas with wonderful curator-colleagues


And that’s a wrap! And what a week! Had an incredible time in DC attending and presenting at #AsiaProvenance workshop & symposium with the amazing Tullia Fraser & many old and new friends


The Archive of Imperial Household Furnishings #清宮陳設檔案 is a really important resource for researchers in #Qing #China #arthistory and #materialculture and the The Courtauld library is the only place in the UK you can find it — please come pay us a visit!

Such an amazing week w/ colleagues from The Forbidden City Palace Museum 故宫博物院 Tsinghua University TU Berlin & Ethnological Museum in Berlin studying 燙樣 tangyang - architectural paper models of Qing imperial tombs, visiting museums & storerooms. Nothing beats coming together in person!
