On the National Day for Truth & Reconciliation, we honour the survivors, families & communities of residential schools. We also commemorate Orange Shirt Day to raise awareness of the inter-generational impacts of residential schools, and to ensure that "Every Child Matters."

"There are no shortcuts when it comes to Truth and Reconciliation." The journey and learning do not end today; Orange Shirt Day and Nat'l Day of Truth and Reconciliation are impt reminders of our commitments to further understanding and the ongoing work ahead of us.

Our Gr 5/6 Student Tech Leaders have been partnering with primary students to share, inspire, and build student capacity! At Halbert, digital citizenship for our students is an important skill as we learn how to effectively use TDSB IT Services digital tools and devices.

Thanks to Ms Nancy for hosting the Seashore Exploration at Halbert! Students loved the hands-on experience and heard a thrilling tale from Ms Nancy. Trying on the turtle shell was definitely a highlight!
