This is absolutely gut wrenching One of the reasons I advocate so strongly for building more housing is because modern housing, and especially multi-family housing, is substantially safer than 100 year old stand alone housing. Nearly all fire deaths in CT occur in 1-family homes

extremely grateful for this recognition from Neighbors Welcome! Rhode Island! the comp plan is a great opportunity to make meaningful changes to the blue print of our city! while we got some wins like upzoning in our neighborhood, there is a lot more to do. 1/2

there will be opportunities for more public input now that the council has started our process part of it. first one being on 9/16 at city hall. (5:30pm) i will be pushing to add amendments around parking minimums and voluntary inclusionary zoning polices. 2/2
