Thank you BBC Health News for highlighting the story of a patient suffering with hernia waiting since 2018 for an operation. Daily pain, inability to carry out daily activities, risk of obstruction/ strangulation. How on earth have we allowed this to be acceptable?! #itsNotJustAHernia

On #WorldPrematurityDay a huge thank you to the obstetric, NICU, paediatric cardiology, surgical & anaesthetic teams at Cardiff and Vale University Health Board for looking after my brave boy born at 32 weeks in Sept.
