#notbeerbods Harlequin, a new British hop in this collaboration between BuxtonBrewery and Brithop® Brewing Co. . It's a very drinkable beer, fruity but a little cloying.
Not sure I've ever described a beer as piney for #notbeerbods but this mix of Citra, Talus and Amarillio hops from Vocation Brewery is that. Apex, at 7.6%, is just too drinkable
Other people have raved about Polly's Brew Co. on #notbeerbods , so I thought I would give one a go. Very refreshing combination of popular hops - mosaic, citra and cascade - perfect bitterness for me.
#notbeerbods an out standing beer from Triple Point Brewery , fantastic musical to support the launch of the beer as well.
#notbeerbods Doppelganger from Vocation Brewery a simple hop bill of modern day classics Simcoe and Mosaic, doubled up. It works superbly, make this a core beer please! Jekyll and Hyde?
Second one tonight (don't worry they're only 4.5% on a school night) Death by Daquiri from Vocation Brewery . Pleasant beer, but a bit sweet for me, would prefer more tartness.
Back to a favourite from Vocation Brewery for #notbeerbods . A delightful juicy beer that makes me want to skip and jump.
#notbeerbods Had to be North Brewing Co today to celebrate the good news of their survival. Purity glass seems apt as they were also recently saved. And the beer? Exactly what it says on the tin, fruity and bitter.
Still on track for a Change In Tune from Track Brewing Co. . I've not been impressed by some single hop beers using Nelson Sauvin, but this one is superb.
Back on Track! Halo California Common from Track Brewing Co. is unusual, a hoppy malty lager, so a good choice for #notbeerbods . Would happily drink more of this.
#notbeerbods 2nd one of the evening. ShinDigger is a new brewery for me. Love the address in Temperance St! Very citrusy, but actually disappointed that it was not hazy as in their strapline.
In the best traditions of beerbods #notbeerbods I am drinking a chocolate beer which is way outside my comfort zone. Cocoa Wonderland is actually a very drinkable porter. The Thornbridge Brewery alchemists have got the balance right, definitely taste chocolate, but not overpowering
