Tom Harwood It seems you cannot see the obvious point here. Earnings for the lowest 30% have stagnated. Earning for the top 10% have skyrocketed. Hence, of course they pay more tax, although many of them do not. A clear image of increasing wealth inequality.

A new danger. Close passed by one Land Rover Discovery like this this weekend I realised what a danger the 'side-mounted carrier' would be when it hits a pedestrian's or cyclist's head at speed in what was otherwise a grazing collision. Land Rover Discovery have you conducted risk testing on this?

Since there is talk about bringing back ASBESTOS (this is somehow true), I thought it would be useful to describe just some what happens to you when you breath this stuff into your lungs. In short, it’s terrible. A 🧵

2% tax on assets worth over £10m would raise £24bn/year. Starmer's welfare cuts will only save £5bn/year. Instead of making the poorest and most vulnerable pay for years of austerity, it's time to introduce a wealth tax.

Good to see that more people are viewing wasteful schemes like #A1 dualling and #A19 junctions are money wasted on major roads, and that schemes like the #NorthumberlandLine and #ECML are better investments to make! chroniclelive.co.uk/news/north-eas…

I’ve just witnessed - after decades of work by volunteers, and recent collaboration with Network Rail folk - the first passenger train in to Chinnor & Princes Risborough Railway’s Princes Risborough platform to meet Chiltern Railways using its own, just-completed Independent Line! Happy Friday!🥰🤩🥳

What about publicly owned gyms, publicly funded group exercise classes, subsidised healthy cafes, free breakfast clubs for all schoolchildren, cooking classes in schools, not closing our parks over the summer due to privatized expensive inaccessible events…

As Hackney’s Cabinet Member for Transport, I delivered the largest number of LTNs in the U.K. In return, I was abandoned by my colleagues, got deaths threats, and received the largest number of complaints of any Cllr in the U.K in 2020. It was worth it. theguardian.com/world/2025/jul…
