“I can’t thank them enough. I would definitely encourage people to start Community First Responder Groups where they are needed, especially in rural parts of the country.” Sligo marathon runner Molua Donohoe’s life was recently saved by the combined CPR actions of his 18-year-old

Do you know the symptoms of a heart attack? If you ever suspect the symptoms of a heart attack, dial 999 or 112 immediately and ask for an ambulance.

Delighted a CFR has captured the Volunteer of the Year Award! - Gary is a member of Dalkey CFR, and is a worthy winner. Also congrats to catagory winner Dermot Moore of Avoca CFR who won, for his role in Scouts & First Response. Not a bad night for community first response!

With 70% of cardiac arrests happening in the home , chances are it will be a loved one or someone you know who you will need perform CPR on. Little did paramedic Kieran Minihane know that at a family wedding he would find himself resuscitating his sister Eithne in her hotel room.

It seemed everything was getting better last week. My brilliant husband was recovering from the cardiac arrest that very nearly killed him. He’d finally got home from hospital. Then his heart stopped again. We were in bed. I was the only one there. All he had.

Terenure College RFC Brilliant!! Our DLSP FC u16 have two Eagles, Luke & Finn, helping us out all season. They are a key part of the back room staff. We’d be lost without them! Finn is playing with the MARI's Rugby in Cork this weekend too against Sundays Well RFC Rebels
