After almost a month we are back in action this week in the Vets Plate, welcoming Roffey Vets to the recreation ground. We had a good game in the cup last year where Roffey came out on top after penalties so will be looking to avenge that result on Sunday.

After almost 2 months, 2 walkovers and horrendous weather we are back in action in our penultimate game in the MSFL Vets Plate - at home vs Roffey Hill Park Vets. An amazing 20 available so selection difficult but the match day 16 as below ⚪️🟢⚪️🟢

A good game today at the Rec with the Vets jumping out to a 3-0 lead after 12 minutes - could have been a few more by half-time but credit to Roffey who never gave up and it was near the end before the final goal finished it off - One game to go to complete the season!

Our Official Mid Sussex Football League ⚽️ Vets plate campaign, and season, come to a close this coming Sunday (28/04 14:00 ko) with a rescheduled home match against BroadbridgeHeath FC - both teams with a chance to top the plate division it should be a cracker.

A proper Vets football match today with some tasty challenges, some good football from sides and more importantly handshakes after the game. We ended up coming out on top end our season on top of the MSFL Vets Plate with our opponents today play rivals Jarvis Brook in a week

Congratulations to the 2023-2024 Vets Players Player of the Year - Alex Thompson. Different gravy this year and well deserved 👏👏👏 Managers player of year - another midfielder - Ben Mansford - played the holding role so well and popped up with 5 goals!

Congrats to Jarvis Brook FC Vets who look to have had a thumping win today to pip us to the Vets Plate on goal difference.

So the preparations for the 2024-2025 season start this week with the Vets joining in with the senior clubs training sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays - any new players looking for a new Vets team get in touch !

We return to Sussex Sunday Football League action this week hosting Peacehaven & Telscombe Football Club Vets at the Rec - note the 15:00 KO this week. Bar will be open after the game - come down and support the old boys!
