All Quiet on the Western Front is such a powerful, gut wrenching depiction of the horrors of war. Thank you The Rex Cinema for giving us the chance to see it on your beautiful big screen last night.

An opportunity arose to avail myself of a matinée at The Rex Cinema today, so I grabbed #Aftersun with both hands & enjoyed from the comfort of their sumptuous swivel chairs downstairs, the beautifully observed film by Charlotte Wells, reflecting on my own trials of girlhood.

After seeing (the excellent) Tar yesterday and Babylon looming this week, will enjoy the brevity of a sub 90min movie at The Rex Cinema tonight ⏱️
