Presumably today’s budget is an attempt to turn the U.K. into a prosperous Swiss style economy, but such idealistic thinking does nothing for the vast majority of people. I’m with Joe Biden. Trickle-down economics just doesn’t work. The country’s poorest are set to get poorer.
