Doing a PhD is a strange experience, because every non-academic thinks you're an overachiever while you live in fear of being exposed as a wastrel and fraud

Spell binding, brave, moving, powerful and devastating from the proudly Jewish Miriam Margolyes. She is a bright light indeed. We need more Miriams. 👏 👏 👏

The teacher exhorts: "The quiet words of the wise are more to be heeded than the shouting of a ruler among fools." Ec 9:17. Wisdom for our times?

I cannot shake this strange feeling as I sit on on a former plantation, where UWI is conferring the honorary degree of Doctor of Laws on Archbishop of Canterbury on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the Dio Jamaica&Cayman. USPG Joanna Sadgrove

At our recent conference #UnitedBeyondBorders, the Right Revd Dr Anderson Jeremiah inspired us to think about God’s kingdom and our Christian journey. As pilgrims, we are on the move too. Use our new study course, United Beyond Borders, to delve deeper: uspg.org.uk/resources/stud…🌿

1/33 There are people who disagree with CAPRI’s ZOSO report findings and are unhappy with the recommendation to deprioritise social interventions. This was expected. Same thing happened with the August Town report and, less so, Testing, Testing, which were adjacent topics.
