My side hustle of doing "4 words or less" descriptions for complex things just got replaced by a robot (ChatGPT 4 in this case) 😎

So now that I can talk about Duet AI in Cloud a bit, what I'm actually interested in is what y'all want! What GenAI features do you think will make your Google Cloud experience more efficient (and more fun)?

Reto Meier (@retomeier) 's Twitter Profile Photo

I'm most interested in toil-reduction feature: Things like writing unit tests or adding code comments—or checking if the code does what my comments say it should, and if my unit tests are capturing all the possible failure cases.

as generative models are quickly becoming commodities, companies will need to differentiate on user experience, distribution, and building strong data flywheels (meaning: How well can you attract and retain new users? How many landing surfaces do you have to capture data? What

We've also seen strong adoption of genAI in Google, for every part of employees' work (answering emails, analyzing data, summarizing bugs, automating code reviews, drafting docs, etc). "Getting the job done" is going to look completely different–for everyone–over the next year.

models are the most expensive, the slowest, & the least capable that they'll ever be context windows are only going to get larger, models are just going to get cheaper, faster, more capable what could you build with infinite context, zero latency, no cost, unlimited tools use?

Trying to understand a codebase? This technique BLEW MY MIND. Reto Meier told me to try uploading a code repo (after flipping all files to txt) and asking Google AI NotebookLM (notebooklm.google) to make a podcast from just the code. It did, and it was crazmazing.
