Found out there is an 18th KIA at Anderson Memorial. Gary Wayne Brown went to (former) Highland Park HS here but moved to Treasure Island, FL his junior year. He was buried here in Indiana next to (presumably) his mother. Will clean and post a tribute very soon. 🇺🇸

Went to visit Johnny Crawford tonight, he died 57 years ago today. Marker is looking good, I completely restored about two years ago and it is holding up very well. Just needed to scrub off the dirt. RIP Johnny, you are remembered today. 🇺🇸

Spent an hour wandering aimlessly around the massive section J at Washington Park East. Stumbled across four Vietnam KIAs, logged all their GPS locations so I can come back later. Total of 28 men at this property and will get to them all. 🇺🇸

Mr. President, please consider Gary Sinise for the Presidential Medal of Freedom. I can’t think of a more noble civilian in America.

SGT Gary Wayne Brown from Treasure Island, FL was killed in Vietnam on May 5, 1970. He is buried at Anderson Memorial in Anderson IN, GPS (40.045051, -85.721856). Originally from this area, moved to Florida his junior year of HS. Buried next to his mother. RIP Gary 🇺🇸

My mother today told me she knew this young man very well. Called him “a wonderful farm boy” and went to his funeral after he was killed in Vietnam. Planning to be in his area this weekend and going to clean and visit. Tribute to follow. 🇺🇸

SP4 John Jasso from Rudolph, OH was killed in Vietnam on Aug 25, 1970. He is buried at Wood County Memory Garden outside of Bowling Green, OH. GPS (41.3764761, -83.7072421) Marker was scrubbed on Oct. 17, 2025. Will take some time to come fully clean. RIP John 🇺🇸

PFC Jerry Allan Bockbrader from Perrysburg, OH was killed in Vietnam on May 20, 1968. He is buried at New Belleville Ridge Cemetery in Dowling, OH. GPS (41.47927, -83.59089). Marker is well cared for and in good shape, just tidied up. RIP Jerry, thanks for your sacrifice. 🇺🇸
