He offered one of his bagels. “Hungry?”

“Do you want another one?” He asked as he reached for the last one.

“Alright, if you change your mind it’s there.”

“I don’t understand why we have to fight the Quincy people, I’ve meet like four and they have been extremely kind.”

He was meditating with his zanpakuto across his lap. A little worse for wear, but he’s been over doing it with training.

“Oh hello, yes it’s been quite some time hasn’t it. I’ve been training more.”

“Been doing alright, what about you? How are you?”

“Well is there anything you want to do? I’m sure something can quell your boredom.”

“Not really, do you have any hobbies or something? I know there’s a spider arrancar who likes building webs.”

“Yea that’s a tough one… have to checked squad 11, fighting is like there whole thing.”

“But I’m a soul reaper and I don’t hate you…” he seems slightly hurt. Either that she thought he hated her or that she didn’t see him as a soul reaper.

He smiled softly. “I suppose I am more understanding then my peers…”

“Be careful flattery will get you everywhere.” He said with a embarrassed blush on his face. No one’s called him special in a good way before.

“Oh oh no that’s not.” He blushed and looked away. “I Apologize, they don’t teach social situations in the academy… and I didn’t have friends growing up. I meant that I’d be your friend no matter what happens…”

“I wonder if I could get sent to patrol the human world… it’s doubtful, maybe if they sent me to that place with the substitute…”

“Who knows maybe when our forces fight we just meet up and just spar instead of a true fight.”

“Indeed. A true test of skill. I just hope one one tries to intervene and help one side it the other. How I hate unfair fights.” He seems far more confident then their last encounter.

“Personally I think the whole thing is blown out of the water.”

“But that’s not a topic to talk about among friends.”
