Mr Jackson researchEDBournemouth Mr JT Great day of learning, insights and connections. Well done team! An event where the speakers want to learn from the other speakers is always a fantastic compliment to both the calibre of collaboration but also the event organisers!

A fantastic day at researchEDBournemouth researchED #rEDBmth with really inspiring presentations from truly amazing people, including oliver caviglioli and Mary Myatt, but my highlight of today was from Amarbeer Singh Gill with 'Why are students so bad at learning?' #teachingandlearning #phdlife

I had fully ghosted Twitter/X..whatever we call it now… but then I went to researchED in Bournemouth yesterday, and I was reminded of how incredible this platform is for teachers. So.. here I am. Back again. Tail between legs 😂 #teacherlife

It’s the day after researchEDBournemouth and I am still buzzing about the sessions I attended. What a fantastic opportunity to invest in my own PD and the students I teach. I know it’s in our own time but I would thoroughly recommend going to events like these if you can. So Worth it!

How do you get kids to love reading? Make it central to everything you do. Well chosen, high quality texts, rich in vocabulary will do the heavy lifting when threaded mindfully across the curriculum. Loved listening to Mary Myatt exemplify this at researchEDBournemouth

If I never got to speak researchEDBournemouth again I would be content simply listening. What an amazing event attended by amazing practitioners sharing great thoughts challenging excellence in education. Humbled to be asked back. 🙏🏾 I will share what I spoke on soon.

Highlights from a fantastic #researchEDBmth 2.0 - speakers and delegates alike dedicated on a mission of making a difference to the lives of young people. Fantastic plurality of perspectives, embracing the complexity of affecting system improvements in the education sector.

After researchEDBournemouth and an epic talk from Amarbeer Singh Gill, I spoke to my yr9’s, showed them notes from said talk, and proved to them that Exam Q’s & Spaced Retrieval were the only ways to revise.. They suddenly all believed me… refused to before, mind 😂 #teachinglife
