I had fully ghosted Twitter/X..whatever we call it now… but then I went to researchED in Bournemouth yesterday, and I was reminded of how incredible this platform is for teachers. So.. here I am. Back again. Tail between legs 😂 #teacherlife

It’s the day after researchEDBournemouth and I am still buzzing about the sessions I attended. What a fantastic opportunity to invest in my own PD and the students I teach. I know it’s in our own time but I would thoroughly recommend going to events like these if you can. So Worth it!

How do you get kids to love reading? Make it central to everything you do. Well chosen, high quality texts, rich in vocabulary will do the heavy lifting when threaded mindfully across the curriculum. Loved listening to Mary Myatt exemplify this at researchEDBournemouth
