In less than 24 hours, more than ONE THOUSAND students, staff, faculty, alumni, and community members signed-on to our letter to the UW Board of Regents. THANK YOU to everyone who is standing with us against Republicans’ attacks on DEI. The letter has been delivered.

Thanks to the UW Board of Regents for rejecting this awful deal that pitted DEI against pay raises and buildings! Thank you to all who worked to organize and contact the regents as well! We are stronger when we work together to include ALL rather than divide.

Wisconsin has lost a statesman, philanthropist, and champion for seniors, kids, and health care accessibility. I, along with the people of Wisconsin and Milwaukee, the city he loved, mourn his passing.

Today is the 3 year anniversary of the January 6th insurrection and a reminder of how propaganda and misinformation can warp perception if we don’t remain vigilant in pushing back against rhetoric and falsehoods. #Jan6th

Today I introduced a bill to create a shared revenue advisory council. This council will gather after each U.S. Census and examine the shared revenue funding formula. I am proud to have bi-partisan support of this bill. Thank you to my co-authors!
