Every year we remember Emmett Till on the day his life was stolen. In his memory, we give zero tolerance to white supremacy and the violence it breeds. It is on each of us to stand against hate, and instead spread acceptance and compassion.

At his town hall last night, Congressman Kim was honored to receive NJ VFW’s Legislator of the Year Award. For all they've given us, we are honored to work every day to be there for veterans across NJ and ensure our military community has the benefits and support they are owed.

Hunger often goes unseen. 60 years ago the Food Stamp Act helped make sure those struggling could find some relief. We must recognize the ongoing need to combat hunger and work tirelessly to protect food assistance and nutrition programs like SNAP as we find long-term solutions.

Congressman Kim’s Solutions Not Stigmas Act would help open the door to more informed conversations and give more people the tools needed to tackle addiction and substance use disorders. On Overdose Awareness Day, we work to spread awareness and break down barriers to save lives.

Mr. Tocco, a U.S. Air Force veteran, contacted our office after seeing a discrepancy in his military record. We were proud to help fix the error and at our last town hall, presented him with the Presidential Unit Citation he earned for his heroism while serving our nation.

To protect New Jerseyans’ lives, businesses, and communities, we were proud to help connect The Nature Conservancy in NJ to federal grant funding to restore NJ’s salt marshes. Today Congressman Kim joined them for a birds’ eye view of their progress and innovative restoration work along our Shore!

We are thrilled that funding Congressman Kim secured for O.C.E.A.N., Inc is helping over 100 veterans in Ocean County access their medical care at the VA! It is critical that we keep working to break down any barrier veterans are facing to getting the care they need and deserve.
